Coventry MotoFest 30th May to 1st June 2014

There's a new event for the 2014 calender based in Coventry city centre. Coventry Motofest celebrates Coventry's motoring past, present and future over 3 days from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June. Chris Barrie, actor and classic car enthusiast will be kicking things off on Friday evening, then classic car shows in the city centre starting on Saturday. Sunday will feature a "live" celebration of 60th years of stock car cars in the UK with the stock car gymkhana, Mission Motorsport display, the LandRover experience off road area, manufacturer displays, a critical display of classics and.......live sprint/race demonstration on the closed off ring road. Plus a live music stage, a full programme car films being shown all saturday and all sunday at the University cinema (big screen), Byatt's brewery & Ace Cafe refreshment area plus a variety of other fringe activities going on over the weekend.

Its a completely free event. Further info at http://www.coventrymotofest.com if you want to bring your car along as part of the main event please register your interest on the website (must be built registered before 1994).

If you have a Standard, Triumph (car and bike), Rootes, Peugeot, Alvis etc pre 1994 vehicle, then this show is a must.

I'd best start badgering the relatives to try and find free bed n breakfast :D
