Sorry for delay in posting these but I started going cross eyed after a while sorting the code out!
I managed to get to Ryhope steam meuseum with a fellow petrol head who had never been to this event
before. I will say this the parking for those not showing was hell!
Enjoy

Nice work there, Aron. I had my newsletter from the trust last week and in there, they said that there'd be cars there today as well. Dammit! Oh well, I won't be driving 70 miles each way to sit by the boilers drinking tea :( . Next year eh? :)

Don't suppose you got a closer picture of the Tandy Fox did you? Most of the local Reliant Kitten Register folk were at Ripon racecourse for the weekend - with the ROC - so it would be good to know which of us escaped that grumblefest and went to Ryhope instead.
It's refreshing to see some vehicles there which haven't been seen at a thousand other events throughout the region, a bit of new blood every little once in a while keeps the scene fresh.

Well my poor body is feeling the aftermath of doing the show, been on painkillers ever since :(
I was just say able to get around to the top part, I was well and truly done before I got up
there! Sorry no more picks of the reliant, I was too busy trying to stay clear and watch the
police van try to reverse up the bank and not slide down the slop into the other cars or pond
yes there was a lot of wheel spin and the austin rally car had a better chance with
it being front wheel drive  The White Aston decided to stay further away from the edge
for some reason

I was glad a friend took me in his car as I would not have been able to drive back afterwards.

Hartlepool Marina next Sunday, and there is a car boot fair in the next door car oark.

If ypu ,ean this mini

Image

Then this is the engine bay, apparently a BMW motorcycle header on an original mini engine.
It is fuel injected and on electric coil rather than distributor. There is a build thread
somewhere on one of the mini forums.

Image

Is it me or does this one look super charged? There was a belt from the radiator side
of the engine up to cast alloy part behind the rocker cover.
