I just managed to get to the meet, I pulled up with steam coming from
under the bonnet!
A hose connection the header tank and the top pipe of the engine had
ballooned and burst on Mother's Volvo. The guys at the meet tried to help
but were unable to. I left the volvo cool for a few hours next to the chap
doing the pin striping and artistic designs on the cars at the meet. So fresh
paint! I did have to pop home to let the dogs out for a short time(one of is
in season and nuts)that and I had forgotten my insulin, I managed to get the
coolant hose to stay on till I got home and replaced it placing spare hose in
the car with some proper jubilee clips just in case! I was gone about an hour
and I therefore missed some of the vehicles and owners!

Please enjoy what photographs I did take.

That Capri, 6262KX, has been doing the rounds of shows from the Tweed down as far as the Tees for more years than some of us have been alive! Good to see it's still active and looking good. Some nice motors there. And a 58 reg Datsun Kwoob? How did that sneak in? :?

You've also managed to do the impossible, by taking a picture of a slightly less than drop dead gorgeous Bedford CA! 'Til now, I hadn't believed in the existence of such a thing. ;)

Good work man.
