Details below from Pickering show grounds own website
http://www.pickeringshowground.co.uk/in ... d-car-show

Opening Times Sun 9th June: 9.00am - 5.30pm

Welcome to the Yorkshire Modified Show, one of the best car
show events in Yorkshire and the North of England, We are
ready to go again for 2013

Established over 10 years ago, the show is held in the grounds
of Pickering showground, in Pickering, North Yorkshire. The
event has been getting bigger and better as each year passes.
In 2009 the show became even more dynamic by introducing the
inside show car competition called Yorkshire Top 50 which also
featured again in 2010 & 2011. The Yorkshire Top 50 is now the
Yorkshire Top 25, this is to make the competition more elite
and rewarding to be in.

Car clubs & the public come from all parts of the country so
it's not just locals who attend the show. There has been great
weather, a fantastic atmosphere and of course the chance to
drive your car round our mini time attack grass track.

I decided to come back via Whitby as I needed to stop off on the way back I
rested up after pushing my self around the show. So I stopped off at the
Abbey. (You have to pay about £6 to get in as it's privately owned!)

Hmm.....

The plate suits the creator of the thing quite well I think.

Some nicely turned out stuff there, and some horrors to balance it all up. :D

That one looks like someone painted their van pink then couldn't wait for the garage door to fully open so drove out anyway ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

It is safe to say I will not be attending the next one!!
£8 per person to get in, and the photos are of the ones I liked but
there were so many rows of modern stuff which looked the same!
