There should be a higher turn out than normal this year, as the london to cape town rally cars will be there, prior to leaving for the starting point.

They leave from outside the houses of parliament on sunday evening for Dover and the first leg.

I have been led to believe they will all be there, but so far the only one I know is confirmed is an all girl team driving a Maestro 1.6.

A stand? All sounds a bit formal, not usually the case.
Still, look forward to seeing some C5s :)

I rang them today, to ask if my '77 Spitfire would be alright. First reply was that it would be pre '68 only, so sorry no. Then she rang back and said the gate man would only let in pre '53!!!!

Entry is via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road for pre-1973 vehicles, whose occupants will receive a discount of £1 off our usual admission prices - parking in and around the Paddock, on the Finishing Straight and Members’ Banking for these vehicles.
Their website says pre-1973? :?

Indeed it does.

Anyone got any fake '72 plates I could borrow to get through the gate?
