Re: P6ers at the Case is Altered outing on Sunday to Ley Hill Classics on the Common near Bovingdon, Chesham and Latimer on the Herts/Bucks borders.

Do come along on our outing whether you belong to the Rover P6 Club or not and whether you are coming in a P6 or an older Rover.

Either meet at the Case is Altered in Southill Lane off Eastcote High Road, Pinner from 11am on Sunday 14 August to leave at 11.15am sharp for Ley Hill or make your own way to Ley Hill to arrive there at midday.

If you are coming please e-mail me via AJCB on this forum and let me know whether you will be meeting at the Case is Altered between 11am and 11.15am or going directly to Ley Hill Common.

This is a very pleasant and low key event attended by a complete mix of classic cars and motorbikes of all vintages. You just turn up and pay a small donation per car for charity. I am told that last year the barbecue and cream teas were very good and that the village has two pubs side by side with food and drink.

This relaxed Sunday afternoon event has been attracting upwards of 100 vehicles. Enjoy a cream tea in the sunshine and stroll around talking to the other owners.

The event allows you to arrive or leave when you please and there is always room to relax in a deck chair by your vehicle.

The cricket club bar is open all afternoon and a barbecue provides for lunch whilst you wander. The locally owned miniature steam traction engine gives rides to the kids.
