Staple Country Fayre - Classic Car Display - 26th June 2011

Hello, I just wanted to take 5 minutes of your time to invite you to a classic car display that I have been asked to organise this year.

Staple Country Fayre is a great opportunity to display your classic/vintage car off at a family friendly event that attracts over 1500 people every year.

The Country Fayre is to be held on the 26th of June at Staple recreation ground (CT3 1LB). For those who don’t know Staple is in Kent near Ash and Sandwich. The classic cars will be positioned in our own field opposite the recreation ground.

This year along with the car display that I have been asked to organise it includes:
Essex Dog Display Team
The Tigers Freefall Team
Live Music Stage
Over 30 craft stalls
Tombola
Tossing the Bale
Barbecue
BEER TENT!
Refreshments
Produce show
Grand Draw
Cake Stall
Nearly New
Toys and Games
Ice Cream
Bouncy Castle
and much, much more!

As I hope you will agree it looks to be a great event for all the family!

General public opening times
11am till 5pm
All vehicles must be in position by 10am, (I will be arranging a cruise from Thanet).

The admission fees to the fayre are:
Adults £2
Children (under 12) 50p
Senior Citizens £1
Family Ticket (2+2) £5
(It does not cost extra to display your vehicle)

I am currently sorting awards/prizes to be judged by the general public.
If anyone has a car with a particularly interesting past/story with it maybe a massive restoration or a famous past owner get in touch as I am looking for vehicles (and owners) to use for a moving display in the main arena, with some questions etc.

If you have any questions or you are interested in coming please get in touch with me, as I need to know rough number to allow enough space on the field.

We must have all vehicles in position at 10am (no movement after that)
There will be a cruise the fayre from the Red Arrow Club, Newington Road, Ramsgate, CT11 0QX meeting at 8.45 to leave PROMPTLY at 9am. If you are meeting us at the recreation ground please aim to be there at 9.30-9.45am.
