CANNOT WAIT

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I genuinely wish them all the best but I’m afraid I can’t, and don’t, see me getting to excited about it on the day. We are having a street party in the village but to be honest if the weather is that good I shan’t be at any street party I shall be out in the car.

For those who are as interested as I am, I have just been informed that the wedding is on the 29th. Mother's carer told me - she only knew as she will get extra pay for working the Bank Holiday!

That's the trouble with being full-time carer for Ma - no holidays!

Well, I'm having a sticker made up with the happy couples face on to stick onto my car's bonnet.

Nothing too ott; it won't go onto the wings, it'll just be a subtle nod to them and their amazing marriage.

Wait.................

Anyone read Private Eye? They tend to have amusing ott souvenirs on this kinda thing.

Personally I don't really care, she's a nice looking piece of totty but it's like any wedding including those OTT things they have in soap operas that they discuss on morning TV - it won't touch me in the real world, so no opinion for or against.
Pretty much the same as a crowd of people running round London this morning, or some 'big' football match on this evening. By all means do it if you want to, or watch if you're interested, and good luck to all concerned. I'll be at home, probably buried in the Gt6.
