205/206

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Coincidentally re the 205/206, I've been giving some serious thought to a MK1 Golf for my missus. Her current Golf a 1998 (I think, it's got a cherished number plate so I can never remember,) is a diesel and with the stricter emissions control, getting through the MOT is something of a challenge. It passed last week but it's taken more than a few shekels to get there. Her Golf is as immaculate as the Scirocco she had for all those years, shame it's not forty years old, wouldn't need an MOT then.
