Denise's bike, if you can call it that, is towed by the car up to 100mph, then she is released. It might be ungentlemanly to say that the two speed attempts weren't like for like, after all, 184mph would get rid of anyone's constipation.

To give you some sort of reality check on what 400mph is like, you might remember, as you live in France, when the new TGV was tested. It reached a speed of 575kph, or in old money, that's 357mph. 400 mph on two wheels, more like two brain cells.
