I love the way in which the author describes this car as "objectively ugly", in itself a contradictory thing to say and now an invalid statement as I hereby declare the thing to be an object of great beauty. Just one opinion, but that's all it takes to make a liar of the description and why is the car not named? Does the manufacturer make these things secretly and insist that the drivers of them should never, ever be seen in public? An own goal in injury time, ooh, embarrassing.

So what is it, who made it and where's my nearest dealership?

You're right, it is a great piece of journalism. Do me a favour, there's a good fellow. Never get a job in the design department of an automobile company. Of all of those cars the Multiplas has got to be the most hideous. It looks like one car squashed down on top of another.

I didn't get right down the list, was the 1950's Edsel there? What an eyesore that car was. The British born, American comedian, Bob Hope, said, when asked what he thought of it: "It looks like it's sucking a lemon."

If i do get a job as a designer cars would be beautiful! I read most of what that idiot wrote.. he claimed Suzuki jeeps have a tendency to fall over.. I did a lot of miles in one and i can say it never fell over once.. writers like that should stick to fairy stories..

Perhaps defining loss of control as, falling over, is the sort of poetic licence that journalists use, drama being their stock in trade. But my wife can concur that stability of some cars, in the wrong hands, were notorious. She recalls three Suzuki incidents where the driver had lost control and left the road, she also said that all three were due to driving inexperience. My wife was a paramedic in the ambulance service for 30 years. One other car she remembers well that in the wrong hands had a problem staying on the road, the Vauxhall Nova. It was so light that even a medium strong wind could effect the handling.
