Discuss..
No!

I see lists of good stuff, one of which is an historically relevant account of the origins of much of today's best tech, the other a reminder that not all modern things are bad. BMW MINI excepted perhaps, as there are smaller vehicles that have much more space inside which says all we need to know, IMHO. ;)

This one:

is one of those things that just makes sense. :)

This:

reinforces the notion that Springers need to be trained firmly or they just end up doing whatever the hell they please and getting away with it.

But this:

Ooh-er! GHT, is that one of your own upper balljoints or an MG-related item? ;)

It should explain my absence, had it done a couple of weeks ago. Monday 27th November. I had been getting this constant throb in the left thigh, causing difficulty sitting down/getting in and out of the bath tub/climbing stairs.
Can't put it off any longer, went along to my GP. She sat me on the stretcher. "Do this, do that, lift this lift that." Then she had me sit with my legs out straight. She placed both hands on my right leg and rolled it like a rolling pin, when she did the same to my left leg, the pain was so intense I involuntary grabbed her arm to stop. "Think you might need an x-ray," she said. So now I'm hobbling around on crutches, not allowed to drive, not allowed to do much at all, (not even Christmas shopping :D ) so all I can do at present is annoy everyone here.

Aw Rich, i didn't know that you cared. To check on your left hip, sit on a flat surface with your legs out straight, get your missus to place the palms of her hands on the top of your thigh, then 'roll' your leg back and forth, like a cook's rolling pin. If your hip joint is worn, the rolling motion will be agony.
