isuzu

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

In yer dreams pal!

Also, who did that rather fine drawing of me on "club night?" The hair's not quite right (unless I spray my head with a rattle can of Triumph Inca Yellow), but the general idea gets close. Carry on, don't mind me..

Yes, but mostly involving cars. Hey-ho, One can't have everything. :scared:

Any word on the Renault's reliability or is it too soon to tell?

Well as for mr truck it does seem seem to have fixed the problem although there's a relay under the dash playing silly buggers so once in a while the dash lights flash for a while and wiped the radio code again but apart from that its going fine!😊😊😊

Thought I'd give you an update on mr truck..ive washed and polished the cab taken at least half a ton of cement off in the process, ive repainted the bed with smoothrite paint replaced all the knackered light bulbs, even that awkward little sod for the heater control.. im even tempted to repaint the wheels.. anonther bright idea ive had is Get a canvas tilt made for the tipper body so i can use it as a camper.. wifey isnt too keen on that idea though... :D

Hmm, that's a darned fine plan, IMHO, but how about taking it a level up and buying a demountable camper of the sort usually found in American pickups?
Too costly? Fear not, for I have the simplest, cheapest solution ever: Line the tipper bed with a large sheet of plastic, fill to the top of the tipper sides with soil, pitch a tent in it and then, best idea of the lot, take a pipe from the vehicle's exhaust pipe and bury the end of it in the soil in order to provide that most unique thing; a tent with ground sourced central heating.
Go on, you know it makes sense!
