Haven't thought about next year's Summer hols yet, or rather; hadn't before I saw this. Thanks for the inspiration, I may yet give Italy a visit. Great food, lovely scenery and cheap hotels, what's not to like?
On rallying, did you see the coverage of the start of the Welsh rally last night on Granada Reports? Some lovely MK1 Escorts and similar classic rallying tools were there at the start.
Thinking about it, I used to get the North East ITV & STV but now, all of the ads and the local news are from down there in Granadaland. This was a good thing as STV & Tyne-Tees wouldn't have had the rally coverage, but 24 hour live clog wearing and attempts at filling the biggest bath with the largest quantity of coal in the shortest time? Not sure it's a fair tradeoff! Come back, analogue telly.
