oops

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Rich, you know that those are ramps, not chocks.
You've been in Frogland for too long! ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Come on chaps, lets not be rude to poor rich. It's a common enough mistake when you're a billy no mates with no one to shout "STOP".

I'm sure we've all done it....not me of course...i would never do that...honest!

Nope, never done that!!! But in other motor related news a very young arceye after saying "goodnight" to a friendly lass did back up his escort estate, having forgotten the front of a decoupled arctic wagon trailer was just a few feet behind him.

Surprising how well a mk2 escort estate fitted a couple of feet of its roof so well underneath it despite it being an inch or so too tall

Was worth it though  taught me to always demist the windows before (and possibly after) making a manouvre

Rich... was your windows happened to be steamed up ;)
