I've been thinking about stationary engines recently :oops: , I have two lawnmowers whose engines have been perfectly stationary since 2009.
I do like this sort of thing though:

Ah yes ! Mower engine...look for box ! :oops: I've aquired a Webb 21".. in 5 boxes.. :P :P (and another possibly restorable Suffolk :oops: )

talking of mowers 7 years ago and against my better judgement i was talked into buying a mower with a briggs & stratton engine fitted, this season it had a crisis & has started using oil :evil:

Rich, my diagnosis is that you were using oil that was too thick, until this season! :lol: Expect a Briggs or similar to use some oil, worry when it doesn't. ;)

:lol: i had changed brand of oil, but it was the same spec :? briggs engines are just shite & always have been :evil:
