Playing Truant

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Good to have you back - and to read the updates on the progress (or not) on the rest of the fleet. Pleased that you are so busy with the new business but the downside of that is an unfinished house and cars that need your attention - perhaps you need a holiday . . . . . . :D

Hi All - Still playing truant - still up to my armpits in paint - still very, very busy - but slowly finding time to 'normalise' things - the other half has just departed off to Budapest on a contract for several months so that's one of my problems out of the way (she's lovely really) - couple of updates just in draft for posting now and I will do my best to stop in touch and just because I don't post for months it does not mean that I'm not reading what you lot are up to - I tend to manage a 5 mins catch up every few weeks - Hope you all have a very productive / enjoyable year of 'Classicing'

How do, Chris. I'm glad to see that the business is working for you but what will happen to the dredging of the rivers now that you've moved on? Just watch, next thing is there'll be flooding.
;)

Too soon? Sorry.

Chris, I do hope that you have found time to send off your Revival forms. Had mine last November and a phone call today to remind me not to procrastinate too long. Will you be at Goodwood again come September?

Hi all - hope you are all well - time continues to march forth and it is just 12 months since I took the bold leap of faith of self employment - it has it's downsides - just too busy for my own good really and sort of defeats the object that I set out to achieve - so I will evaluate over the summer for a way forward - it's all very good but little time to stand still - I will post on the classic fleet under the separate threads - and have had a few classics through the workshop for paintwork too - again I will post images under a separate thread - GHT very much on for Goodwood Revival all my forms were in at the start of the year and will see you there if not before.

Had a great time at the restoration show and completed the hat trick by winning best working restoration stand for the Jowett Car Club for the third year running ! - big challenge on for next year's show

Have great summer all - talk / post soon

Chris
