tablets

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

One of my (many) past jobs involved fixing people's home computers. Some of the things you would see in their search history is worrying.
Anyway, by far the most dangerous thing to do is search for "project car" on ebay after an evening enjoying beverages enhanced with fermented plant matter.
Fortunately I don't have this issue as i don't partake in such things, however there are some entertaining entertaining (from a 3rd party perspective) stories available.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

You couldn't be worse than me. When we got our first computer, I tried searching for retro events.
We like swing-jive and the Big-Band era. I typed swing into the search box. Are you ahead of me?
There was no warning, I got a screen full of fornicating swingers. Wife walks into the room, sees my utter
embarrassment, looks at the screen at a 45 degree angle and said: "See, I told you that position was possible!"
about 10 years ago when we first moved here & bought chickens one male was a complete b#####d & attacked everyone so i typed into the internets agressive cock.. not a mistake i will make twice

 I may have done a similar thing once, when I needed to find instructions for fixing a slight problem with the incoming water supply to my house. That wasn't aggressive but I wanted to stop it dribbling, trouble was that the word "stop" shouldn't have been followed by a space...

"Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..
