Simple but this is pretty much how I remember I did it ...

I only found two were gone .. one completely dead and the other dying .. but why it should affect the car when running who knows!

Thanks mate! Now I have to adjust the fan belt as the alternator squeals like a stick pig...

Update on the clio.. sort of...
It's been sat in the barn for quite a few years now. I'm using it to teach the kids to drive.. now I'm using the truck again for work and spending 120 a week on fuel I'm wondering if its a good idea to buy a knackered kangoo van and swap the engine over.. is there anything I should be worried about? Or is it a straight forward job..
