You are too young to be an old fart. If someone had told me to change the plugs, I would have gone around the house changing all the plugs. If that's what you did, I'm not surprised that it still doesn't work.

not quite.. even in your car there are spark plugs in the engine somewhere... :lol: & according to wifey im a miserable old git.. i will get to old fart status in a few years :lol:

I for one would love to enjoy your bearings, as it were, but I do believe that I just broke Bhotopucket :oops: :oops: , I can see your gallery page, I can select and click on the individual files and that's when the house lights go out and my mantel clock strikes fifteen times at the half hour, something which is technically impossible!

I must be channelling my inner Rich.. :P

renaults electrical pixies have struck the starter motor.. being frenchists they put it behind the engine just to pi## me off :lol:

& That right there, Ladies and Gents, is the one and only idea that Renault copied from the Toyota MR2.. :lol:


Oh wait, that was the alternator and, as we all know double well, French alternators last forever! :scared:

thanks for your sympathy mate.. i would say removing a toyota mr2 alternator is childs play compared to getting that starter motor off the clio.. annoyed i changed the battery in the hope it was that :( still a nice trip out to see mr tarcelin? i think thats his name & check see whats wrong :D
