Wheeler Dealers

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Is this on Freesat or Freeview by any chance? Better still, is it available on line?

OK, so it'll probably come to Quest or Viva in a year or two but I want everything yesterday you see.

No need to watch it - I can tell you ecactly what'll happen!

Mike Brewer will appear, fatter than ever, with some heap of old sh*te that he's paid well over the top for, Ed China will look at it with a shockhorror what-have-you-bought expression on his face, major engine faults will magically fix themselves while Ed changes the discs'n'pads (well, it worked on the 205 gti they did, anyway... ) you'll also catch an occasional glimpse of the other bloke who wears the boiler suit and is listed as 'mechanic' in the credits, and then they'll sell it at a 'profit' which is really a loss because they don't factor in any labour costs..........oh, and the occasional car may magically change it's registration towards the end of the show like the VW beetle did!

I'll still probably watch it though

I want to see what they do with the Moke. But it's only on Pay TV here which I refuse to pay for.

I will wait until it's on Youtube then.

Saw one of their "revisited" shows last night, went to see a Alfa Spyder that they sold on 4 years previous.

The car had a new owner who seem to be using it in all sorts of weather (good for him I say), but the rust in the sills was incredible, it looked like someone had used a foot pump to inflate the rear of the sills on both sides, even a small poke from an inquiring finger would have left a huge hole.

Ed advised the new owner to "get it looked at straight away".
