Anyone else get a 'Sagavi Webserver' error occasionally?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Anyone else get a 'Sagavi Webserver' error occasionally?

#1 Post by 3xpendable » Wed Jan 14, 2015 12:02 pm

This only happens from my work computer, so I'm guessing it's related to that. I can only access the forum probably 1 day in 3 at work, most of the time it just goes to a IP address (numbers in the address bar) and has a blank white page saying "Sagavi Webserver" and my IP address, or something like that. Just wondering why it works some days and not others?

'ello,
I haven't seen that error but as it is only happening for you in one place it would suggest firewall configuration at that site. It is possible they have redirection blocked (which is a standard-ish thing to do) so when you visit our .co.uk address, the redirect to phpbbhosts fails and it throws an error.
If you visit http://practicallyclassics.phpbbhosts.co.uk directly does it work OK?

This may help to explain who and what Sangavi are all about. :)
It wasn't Rich, he never done it, he only said he done it so they wouldn't put his tackle in the bacon slicer again.

I get the message sometimes when using a VPN. Otherwise it's OK

Tried it Terry, and it brings up the same error even with the direct host. So I shall just have to live with it :) It's working today.

if you were to visit whatismyip.com them PM me your IP address (from the site where access is intermittent), I can ask our host to look in to it for you. It is probably something daft that can be easily resolved :)

This is still going on sadly. I've been dying to post all week but 3 days in a row at work the damn thing keeps popping up!! It's the same for any phpbbhosts site, so sadly I'll just have to live with it.
