my penknife is stuck closed!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

My old swiss army knife was very stiff so the other day I got bored and soaked it with WD 40 for about an hour or two and exercised the blades, and it's about as good as new now I've sharpened it (apart from the missing tips on the blades)! If you google it there are some instructions to take them apart. When I did mine I just took the plastic bits on the side off but you could go all the way and strip it completely.

I do think we need a proper penknife restoration thread here, Terry. Pictures and everything. ;)

Is "My Old Swiss Army Knife" a euphamism for something?

Please advise as I'm currently having disturbing dreams
