ive pulled the clutch pedal & the cable isnt snapped it sort of reset itself
meanwhile heres a pic for you chaps

What is scrap worth a ton over there?

Looking at that block work in your barn Rich - what type of bond is that then ? (obviously a non cement stack them on top of each other and hope they don't fall over bond by any chance?)

thats my pile of blocks that were stacked against the wall... honest

Potential solution for the car issue then. stack the blocks up next to it and wait for a strong gust of wind.....

update.... ive started taking it apart & the clutch is hydraulic & the bar that connects the pedal to the cylinder is bent & broken... im waiting for a copy of how to strip & refit everything.. nothing available on the net.. its the 110. the owner is thinking of scrapping it...

So is the clutch problem down to having a bent rod? that would be a really cheap fix.

i wish! the thrust bearing is going on the clutch & the rod assembly had seized/broke on the pedal

If I hold my clutch 2/3 of the way down it starts sounding like a dry bearing. If this one isn't fully disengaging is it the same effect?

the chap has decided to scrap it...he has enough trouble on his plate with a psychotic ex wife who's causing no end of problems.. i really feel sorry for the guy..
