We're going into libya!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Irish Nationalists in Banbridge Northern Ireland have begun flying huge Libyan flags beside the Palestinian ones they also fly. I can't work out the idea behind it - they wanted to show solidarity with Palestine against Israel; are they now saying Gaddafi is oppressed by the USA and British forces? Maybe it's just a thank-you for all the explosives he sent them over the years... which our army is just returning to him...

There is an easy way to tell when a politician is lying.

They are speaking.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I see one of them has got jail for fiddling. I wonder if he'll be like Grouty (Off Porridge) when he's inside :?: Perhaps when asked what he did, like Fletcher, he'll say "Got caught".
