...Filthy shitty van man just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Perhaps not. However, because F is before W in the alphabet, the fsvm would get a lot more calls than the wvm from people who'd seen their name in the phone book.

Damn! I would have jumped on that had I not bought the infinitely more useful 4 wheel drive Hiace. I was once looking at those rare and unobtainable Fridolins but that Caravelle, although much less ancient, looks pretty decent and isn't too overpriced for something prepared to that standard.
I would have changed that o/s inner driveshaft boot before adding that image to the listing, but those aren't a bad job to do and it's a bargaining point. ;)

Hmm, maybe I could squeeze another van onto the drive if the bB sits on the lawn.. :scared:

It looks like the LA series, I don't remember them having twin back wheels. The garage owner had one back in the late sixties where I lived in East London. If I'm right, it will have a sizeable V8 lump of a power pack.

Cooking oil fumes? I know what that's all about. The panic buying has left the freezer section in my supermarket bereft of, amongst other things, oven ready chips. No problem I can make my own. Peeled the spuds, sliced and chipped them, warmed the cooking oil on the hob, put chips into pan. Didn't dry the chips of their natural water. The kitchen looked like a London fog of the 50's, smelt like one too.

100 and 200 models were SRW 300 could be either, 500 & 600 and upwards were DRW. They could have the 6-225 slant six or V8 lumps.

Send me a message with details about where you saw the ones in East London, I may know the bloke that had them.
