I already saw that, funny thing is that its extra width makes it exactly the same size as a Scion IQ, but not as tall. But then it occurred to me that the mini is probably a cut & shut!

I am liking the Volvo though.

You're not wrong mate, yet again you've planted a seed in my mind and I've bought something from the internet, something that may not be strictly essential. ;)

I'm almost disappointed to learn that the late, great Mr Dekker ran that rather than the 1950s Cadillac hearse I'd always imagined he'd have motored about in, but the history of the 190 seems real enough and its major plus point is probably that it'll never be as expensive as Ringo Starr's mini hatchback.

You might have seen images of Glastonbury revellers wallowing in their mud slides. We had something similar at The Goodwood Revival, except our wallowing was in our vehicles. It was unbelievable.

Well it was actually four days, the MG has a hissy on the Chichester by pass when the return spring on the carburetor snapped and fell onto the road. But a local garage soon got me going again. The rain was appalling, the campsite put Glastonbury to shame and The Goodwood Hotel's bar prices are still the best cure for halitosis. They take your breath away. One very small Peroni beer, one very small glass of mineral water. Twelve pounds fifty. TWELVE POUNDS 50p! But it was still the best weekend of the social calendar. Chris was there, grumpy as ever, we had just enough time for a handshake and then back to our duties.
