breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Tw@t springs to mind. Block capitals, bold type face and underlined. Highlighted as well.

 Don't sugar coat it please, we'd far sooner know what you really think of the inexperienced eBayist! ;)
They must be reading this as there are no capitals and in fact no extra formatting of any sort now, but the car's a bit of a Marmite job. I think that the shell lends itself pretty well to the two door surgery, but a late one of these, disguised as the older MK2 as this is, must be worth about 50p in that state. I'd maybe go to a pound if it could be driven onto a suitable recovery vehicle.

Because it's yellow, tatty and has Trotter Traders on the side.............two and a half grand.
But if you scroll down to the line below there's one in brown, very good condition, yours for just four hundred quid. How expensive is tatty yellow paint?

That brown Robin could be a decent buy, IMHO. Its interior has an honest charm about it and the shell doesn't seem too far gone. Chassis condition will be the factor that seals its fate though, but if the steelwork is good it could be a great project for someone.
