breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

If that's the original breakdown truck, then this has got to be the original "Woodie." It's a 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom.

Depends on whether it's the original body, a lot of coachbuilt cars were re-bodied in the 40s and 50s to give them a new lease of life.

Here's a question for all you knowledgeable aficionados. There seems to be a number of car companies that embraced the Art Deco style between the two world wars, both American and European. However, I can only find one UK car, and that seems to be either a one off, or perhaps a collaboration with a coach builder. The one that I found is called the MG PA Airline. Anyone know of any others, UK that is.
