breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

 Morris 8 please, and the green FE series Victor to keep it company.. And the NSU RO 80.
Actually, scrub that, I want to live in the building where the Scimitar and the 107E are stored.
You like the Morris 8? One of my neighbours had been after one of the T series MG's for years. The early T series, most probably a TC, then he saw my MG and loved it, when I told him that from the windscreen back it was a Morris 8, with a few variations, he looked up the Morris 8, and what luck, he found one locally, better still, it was a ragtop just like the early MG's that he had lusted over. The car wasn't a basket case like the one in that video, but it wasn't top notch either. He spent five grand buying it and about eight grand restoring it. He's not selling it, before you ask, but you can have a look.

That brings back memories, my father had one until the 1960s, bought new in 1936, in the same colours apart from the white wheels, although his was a four seater, the two seaters like the one in the picture are a bit more rare. I'm told that as a baby I travelled in my carry cot suspended from the hood stays

John's right, your glasses are crap, ogling a TR7, and do I need to go to specsavers or did you really give me a link to an Aggro? Think I prefer the Mini, it's inspired many.
