breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

15 minutes from me & in a lovely village that holds a "grand prix retro" every year..
There must be an opportunity for some local builder to renovate it and sell it to some Brit as a second home at an inflated price. ;)
hmmm now theres a plan ;) only one tiny snag.. i don't have any money

So I now have a mental image of the queen weighing the car in order to work out how much fuel to put in..

Nice Transit and the Alfa is, erm, "interesting", but the Austin grabbed my attention immediately for its lovely state of preservation and the fact that it is - wait for it - an actual breakdown truck!

I like the Austin breakdown truck. I started driving tow trucks when everything was lifted by cranking the handle.
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.
