Indians (there was a plumbers van liveried with a suitably Indian business name that I've forgotten that used to troll around Luton some years ago with the strap line ' you've had the cowboys now try the Indians')

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
