Anybody affected by this weather?

Just thought I'd ask and see if anybody has been affected by this rotten
weather we are having?

Personally I haven't really been affected, as I haven't left the premises.
But the connecting roads to the towns either side of the village and the
road to the A19 through Castle Eden have been flooded. Oh & the blackouts
due to trees falling on the power lines.

So my thoughts are with any of you who have been affected.

Yep, one of those days when I didn't wear shorts. Appalling.

I had to stop in Halfords on the way home and get some new wiper blades for the g/f's car. The garden is like a marsh and the back of the next field has a 3ft deep 100 x 30 puddle. There were 9 ducks and 2 white geese on it this morning.

Ay up!

I certainly am!

We've had to mop up about 1 inch of water from the workshop floor before we could do owt. AND we've found about 60, yep SIXTY new leaks in the roof.

Looks like the landlords' roofing contractor's gonna be busy! In fact, Monday there was so much water on the floor that I reckon we could have saved the diesel burned going to the Lake for sailing and simply done it in Motor Vehicles!

We're all affected by the weather, but I've not been significantly affected.

The weather has made a hole in my bucket. Dear Liza, dear Liza, in my bucket; a hole. Oh, and one of my lockups has been blown away, gotta hate that big, bad wolf. :|

30 Mins sitting on A1(M) 8AM yesterday morning [Southbound]..... rubbed up along central reservation and only 10" deep!

Going to Leeds - came home up the A19 8-)

As I was running into York, on a call, I saw a field filling up with overflow from the river.... just like a little niagara! by the A64.
