Remember Stephen King's Christine?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I just had a thought after seeing the film again on TV!

Should there be sequel?

Somebody was watching channel 5 last night.
I remember it well. The film doesn't do the book justice.
You've gotta love a Plymouth "Fury". I could prattle on for ages about there not being any red 1958 furys made, all the details that are wrong in both the book and the film but regardless, it's still damn good.

I love that film!

And the car even more!

But to add to the conjecture..................

I read on a yank tank site a few years ago that...........

According to Plymouth's records....................

2 x Fury's were ordered in red in December 58, Not being delivered for some reason untill Feb 59?

The road wars cops would make her rip the film off those windows....

(Christine is the car, Ronold Lebay / Arnond Cunningham were the owners)
If you like horror (or more specifically if you like stephen king) then Christine is superb. You'll find out what happens to people that try to mess with the car if you read the book and it's not pretty!

Sorry, i'll turn my sense of humor up a bit. I have been in a rubbish mood all day because of an influx of stupidity at the office!

I agree with Rich, i would love one, I called my red mini christine as it kept trying to kill me (metro turbo power and a008 tyres + wet roads and teenage driving = brown trousers!)

Watched it as well, brough back good memories when i watched it as a teenager.

I wonder how many they destroyed during filming? According to the film the car must be around 25 years old at time of filming?
