London Tottenham area riot!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Anyone wearing stuff from JD sports deserves to be shot on sight without trial just for their fashion sense!

I suppose it's just one of those occasional outbreaks of public disorder that Britain's history is peppered with. Anyone with any knowledge of Regency or Victorian London will be well aware that this is nothing new, public disorder and looting are something of a British tradition....and moving to France may not neccessarily help, Paris had a similar outbreak a few years back. It'll blow over, it always does. There'll be a bit of a moral outrage, state of the youth, etc, etc, a few stiff sentences 'pour encourager les autres' as Voltaire once said, and it'll be old news.

It's only on the telly if you choose to watch it. Oh, and Birmingham, not to be outdone, is staging some sort of tribute act apparently. Boring, let us see some news involving Linda Lusardi and a large jar of salad cream please.

Wait till the looters and rioters realise that as police are taken from other towns and cities to help with the London police they have left everywhere else serverly vulnerable from these idiots and they are using blackberries to chat without police or authorities to listen in!

With the riots and natural disasters in the UK,
I can see next years insurance going up higher,
be it house or car or business!

Be thankful that nobody has been killed yet,
even though there has been muggings gang
attacks on individuals.
Something has to give and the victims fight back!

Yes, and that'll be why The Ridges hasn't joined the party yet.

Quite surprised about that, them thar Ridgelites don't usually need much of an excuse.
