breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

No accounting for some people's taste. It's in Ipswich, which probably explains it.

It's nothing that you couldn't improve with half a gallon of petrol and a match.

Have you read the description: "Cayene Air Filter"
The seller can't spell but do you think the typo means there is Porsche air filter or possibly the car has a K&N filter.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Gonzo by name, etc..
Is that "rust" some sort of scumble? I was just wondering how the BMW's (plastic) bumpers came to be so rusty. Does anyone know how big the owner/driver is? If it's massive and carries a gun, then I love that car for its inspired approach and have never seen such a thing before, not even once, in spite of going to the Metro Centre car meets whose quality has been altered by just such exhibits these past few years.
On the other hand, if the BMW belongs to someone feeble, small and physically incompetent, then WTF? ARE YOU SOME FORM OF MENTALIST? Kill it, kill it now.

   Avanti, the only car that can match the Ford Scorpio for sheer, jaw dropping loveliness. What a sweet thing that is. And the weird Citroen, I'm drawn to that too. In fact altogether a great selection there, Rich, sadly not quite down to your usual standard!

12 out of 10, must try less well.

How about this Avantipede?..

Hmm, maybe to someone whose definition of "nicer" is "not quite so f'n ugly". :P Maybe! At least the artist remembered the doors when they made the Benz, though how would anyone get from these doors into the front seat? I couldn't own a car that required expertise in gymnastics. Unless it came with a Reliant badge that is..
