Oil grades?

#1 Post by sierra3dr » Sat Mar 20, 2021 3:08 pm

Hello all, just a question in regards to engines built in the 60s/70s,and when car owners back in the 70s did their own oil change back then, what oil grades were available off the shelf in the 70s?

20W/50 was pretty well ubiquitous then, 10W/40 was also available. I always used 20W/50 in Cambridge, Oxford, Maxi and Princess.
