Classic car number plates
Hi all.i have a 1960 triumph herald 13/60 baby blue colour.it hasn't been running for many years due to being kept in garage. It has a number plate with 4 numbers and ending VW.can the number plate be sold separate to the car.need to sell car to rebuild garage.good project for someone
Re: Classic car number plates
I don't know about the number plate but it can't be a 1960 Herald 13/60.
The 13/60 was introduced in 1967.
If I had somewhere to keep it I would be interested in the car.

Yes.sorry.just checked and it is a 948
Re: Classic car number plates
Personally I would keep the reg with the car ... for thr history/provenence. Too many classics have been asset-stripped of their identity.

Re: Classic car number plates
It can, but even though the car is MOT exempt you will need to put an MOT on it before you can remove the number. Then you can put it on something else or put it on retention.
