I thought so, however the idea to post images of oddball, modified 2CVs was GHT's
so thanks due to him. All I did was follow on from his lead, and
pilfered borrowed some images from the web. I did, however, once take a photo of a replica 4x4 2CV, parked in Leeds during a business run down there back in 2011/2012, can't remember which, so thinks I, I'll post that here but it appears to be one of flickR's hostages, as in not rescued before they started asking existing "Pro"
members to pay for the same terms they'd had for years at that time. It'll be somewhere though, quite possibly backed up on the TV or another drive and I shall look it out and post if it tips up.

Thanks John, you might remember I said that the Deux Chevaux are for wimps. Well I stand corrected. Nicolo Lamberti and Milko Dalla Costa, who run the Italian 'Nimik' rally team, took the chassis and engine of a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta and combined it with the body of a Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette bread-van.
Then to finish it off they gave the 2CV's knackered white body (probably never been washed) the classic Ferrari red paint treatment. And then they slapped the iconic pony on the front above the Citroen double chevron emblem. The result of their efforts knocks out around 400bhp and clocks nought to sixty in less than five seconds. Hang on to your bloomers. Bloomers, bread, geddit?
