Re: guy martin
I think I saw it on a low loader as I was driving to the NEC last weekend, it looked in remarkably good order for a relic. Slightly off-topic, but as we were queuing for the shuttle bus on Sunday night, someone in a wheelchair was being loaded on. When I boarded the bus I saw that it was none other than Workshop Phil. Nice to see he's still about.

If I'm not too late with this; set your VCRs and PVRs to record Guy Martin's latest project, which is on C4 at 8pm tonight. He's only gone and built himself a WW1 tank and taken the appropriate test to add its category to his already bulging driving licence, so that he can legally drive the finished thing.

I thought breaking the internet was your speciality, Rich? Never too late to learn new skills.

Cruel, P45, cruel.. Yet sufficiently funny to cause tea to come out of my ears. I have no idea about how the tea may have found its way in there in the first place.

I apologise unreservedly for any harm I may have caused by my attempt at humour.
Rich is obviously a man of many qualities, in both business, his family life, his choice of nationhood and the joy of sharing in our wonderful hobby.
Just don't let him near anything vaguely electrical. I mean, just look at the alternator fandango....

Getting back on topic for a moment, yes, I watched this on Sunday night, another really excellent program from Guy. An amazing achievement, good to see JCB's manufacturing kit in action. I learnt a lot about tanks!
Pity about the Lincoln city police ban on him driving it up the high street, bloody typical!
Well worth a watch.
