Anyone fancy an MGB GT?

There's one on the the Scrapyard Find Facebook group for just 900 quid. It needs a battery, fuel pump and inner sills but looks smart otherwise. It's a white 1974 model. I can post pics if interested.

Run your eye over the driver's door in the first two photos. Is that hinge drop caused by rust or a poorly repaired shunt?

I would say that is wear in the hinge pin / hinge box causing the door to fit poorly - from what I can see it looks like a fairly unmolested / original & complete car which is the best starting base by far - true due to the age / mileage of the vehicle things will be worn and require repair / replacement but only to be expected in a motor that is heading for 45 years old - given what a well restored one can fetch I would be having a go at this but I have too many other things happening over the next few weeks that I need to concentrate upon
