Hmm, let me see.. Manual, but no freewheeling mechanism or other arguable licence loopholes. Sorry, that's just ruined. I mean, what did that poor innocent Pinto do to be locked away in that Pageant Blue prison? I had a 1979 Transit once which had covered well over 200000 miles on its factory fit Pinto, it's an engine that suits a van nicely, even though that one was a Gull Luton with the aerodynamics of a church it went rather well, but drank petrol at a greater rate than the OPEC member nations** could supply it.

Also, nowhere near enough legroom in a Marina. Weird right enough, but not in a good way! ;)

**- with the possible exception of Venezuela, which is so corrupt that they could be digging up enough crude oil to keep the whole world running for many decades to come, and they'd keep quiet about it.

OK, so I guess the logical thing to do would be to buy the red electric thing and fit its electric engine into my washing machine, then fit that jet engine into the space where the motor used to stay?
Renault Espaces really do it for me, are beginning to be valued for their significance in mpv history and are useful, so near ideal and old enough to take to shows, even the Migraine Scenic has an almost ideal seat to floor height ratio and plenty of vertical leg room but like the electric car - which by the way wins the weirdness stakes by a mile - some highly suitable mpvs are simply too new.
The Avantime now, that's a great choice. Renault invited my Dad to a customer track day a few years ago (he had just px'd his 21 GTX against a Laguna) and we got to drive all sorts of then-newfangled Renault products including the Avantime with its weird doors that opened in the style of a hospital bed lying on its side. That car was superb to drive, but the demonstrator - one of only two that Renault UK had at the time - caught fire when the customers who had booked to try it out after us somehow managed to get a bale stuck somewhere hot under the car.

A very fine selection, but Chrysler 2 litre and Granada aren't a physical match as their seats are far too low, though I drove both of those (as well as a Tagora) back in the days when I was sufficiently mobile to fit inside, and they're decent enough in their own ways.

The electric car, in spite of being new, does interest me but mostly because it looks even more bizarre than my daily motoring device and that's quite an achievement. Most people think that the modern is a Datsun Cube, I reckon that the red electric thing would be mistaken for a Kia Soul by these same people as it looks a lot like one, if slightly more handsome.

Princess at a push, but only if it had been a B series or O series one.. I sometimes still have nightmares about the E6 engine and the fact that its heroic failure status in the trade at the time put it right up/down there alongside Triumph's large journal IL4s, which could fail their main bearings at well under 15000 miles unless they'd been rebuilt in the 21st Century by specialists who'd worked out what was wrong originally (BL being the answer to that age old conundrum).

I can't see any cars on that arsebook link and I'm not about to risk joining given how many of the students' computers one of us would invariably have to fix after they'd picked up a nasty disease from the famous social (in what way pray tell :? ) networking site back in 2009, 2010 and 2011 when some of the campuses still used Windows as their operating system.
I was a member for a (very) short time, but found it a hate filled hellhole of a place. Want to network, socially, like? Go to the bloody pub. You can have real fights there, with broken bones, ambulances and all the trimmings.

;)
