Scary Wheels!

#1 Post by EricTheRed » Tue Jan 31, 2017 11:12 pm

Who puts wheels like this on their vehicle?

I've just removed them from my van - hopefully someone will want to buy them!

But seriously, is every one of the skulls hand painted? Someone put a massive amount of work into this if so and, especially where the VW scene is concerned, there's always someone looking for something that nobody else has thought of yet so who knows, someone may just want this look look for their van, perhaps one of the many funeral directors that use these VWs as their business vehicle? I'd be happy to know that my last journey would be taken in something with memento mori themed wheels, that would be one final middle finger raised to the establishment.

The design has been applied by some sort of printing/transfer process.

If they don't sell then I will just use one as a spare which seems a shame if there is someone out there who will actually appreciate them. I have put a message on the VW T4 forum but so far there has been no interest.

Oof! So you just dip the wheel (or whatever) in the magic liquid and it comes out with a pattern all over it.

Now that's magic!

Hi Stevie,
Welcome back.
The forum used to be run by PC themselves, when it became independent we lost everything which was back in 2011. If you've joined since then and can remember what your username or email address at the time was, I can reset your password for you :)

Was that back in the day of Jonno and GJR ?

Or is that before your time ?

That would be 2 forums ago. PC updated the forum and lost everything once, then about 2 years later shut it down completely so Neil started this one. 6 years later with a couple of hosting related bumps, we are still here :)
