Practical classics price guide

#1 Post by estepona1999 » Wed Nov 23, 2016 7:50 pm

I am a subscriber to practical classics and have been for many years, but I appear to have missed anything stating that the price guide is no longer available. It was better in my mind when it was in the mag itself. What has happened, anybody know?

Welcome to the PC forum

The PC price guide has now hibernated to their website available via the below posted link (probably so that can place more features into the mag)

https://static1.squarespace.com/static/ ... +17+v2.pdf

However - you might also want to compare / second opinion with Hagerty Insurances valuation guide - available via the following link (which I personally find more accurate but frustratingly is not as comprehensive as the PC guide)

http://apps.hagerty.com/ukvaluation/ind ... Backlink=1

I normally find that by averaging the two guide prices and a bit of research within the trade retail market and I end up with a fairly accurate idea of what something is worth - I never use Fools Bay for valuation purposes - it's just full of idiots wanting silly money for poorly presented / described vehicles (but hey who can blame them they sometimes get the silly money that they are asking) :o
1937 Jowett 8 - Project - in less pieces than the Jupiter
1943 Jowett Stationary Engine
1952 Jowett Jupiter - In lots of peices http://Jowett.org/
1952 Jowett Javelin - Largely original
1973 Rover P6 V8 - Original / 22,000 miles
