Jeep 1, Hyundai 0.

Driving to work in the YJ last week, had some plonker pull out of a side road without looking....

He lost.

And the YJ?

Pulled his bumper out of my wheel rim and carried on to work. Not so much as a scratch.

Seeing as it is on his insurance I would at least get a geometry check done and have that tyre removed and checked for damage under the rim.

The bumper will have absorbed most of the kinetic energy. It'll have only knocked a bit of muck off the Jeep!

^^^ Yes, this. It's quite possibly perfectly straight but worth checking in any case.

You should make him pay to remove his bumper from your wheel.

I have a suspicion, based on the floral rear view mirror decoration, and the insurance carrier being Diamond, the car is owned by his girlfriend. Or worse, his Mum.

So he's already in enough sh*t....
