SORN status is lost when ownership transfers. I agree with the previous comments, try to tax it with the new keeper supplement, you may be able to do it on the DVLA website.

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

will pass the bad news onto brother.. he registered the car sorn when he bought it .... now he just swears at it...
