Just how you would like to find them
So I Undertook a couple of repairs on two modern cars for a really nice elderly gent (Retired RAF Officer - OBE) - Standalone gated large property - but everyday cars - Golf & Octavia - conversation was had over a cup of tea - my mention of classic cars brought a smile to his face and on completion of the two moderns he mentioned that maybe I could help with a wing repair on a third vehicle - up went the garage door to reveal this
1923 Alvis 12/40 - 2 seat tourer + dickey - amazingly ONE family owner from new - it was purchased by his father in law and has remained with the family ever since - no concours queen but a lovely - well cared for up and together oily rag car - sounded beautiful - so I managed to reshape the offside front wing - welded the splits either side of beaded edges - prepared and painted the wing to the delight of the owner - now If I could just find one of these for myself ! 1937 Jowett 8 - Project - in less pieces than the Jupiter
1943 Jowett Stationary Engine
1952 Jowett Jupiter - In lots of peices http://Jowett.org/
1952 Jowett Javelin - Largely original
1973 Rover P6 V8 - Original / 22,000 miles

Lovely car. It's amazing what's in people's garages. I rented a flat last week when on holiday with my family in Scotland.
I was in the kitchen one morning and noticed a couple accessing one of a line of garages. They pulled up in an unloved (and awful in my opinion) PT-Cruiser. Up went the garage door to reveal a beautiful cream MG A.
