Honda Jazz is cool! (Fact). But sadly no, and I haven't collected the Maruti/Suzuki thing yet as I flipped that for a £1 profit  so it's going to some other lucky soul (one of the students in fact  ) before I risk bonding with it. This means that I can go looking for something big, uneconomical and truck-like to do the shopping without having to worry about trolley dings.

I'm looking at older Japanese 4x4s now so goodness knows what I'll end up with; probably a very un-Japanese Thames Trader recovery truck..
;)

3.0 ltr Surf is what you need John 8-)

I'd have also mentioned Pajero if you get a 2.8 with a good gearbox, and the Delica is a thing of beauty in some peoples eyes

No  needed there! 8-) What's not to like about a 4x4 chassis with a thoroughly practical van-style body sitting on top? I can insure pretty much any Japanese import for next to nowt on a cherished car policy that would still give me plenty of mileage allowance for my £85-£118 premium, depending on how hard the Meerkats want to work at the time of my asking. Other anthropomorphic car insurance animals are available..
I've been looking at the pickups from the 1970s, back when they hadn't all become "lifestyle" vehicles with slogans on their flanks saying things that made Japanese folk rush out to buy them in their millions. Mazda did one of the prettiest IMHO, and their offering can be found with an auto option. I say "can be found" but can see the search being long and taking me to many places before I score another little belter like the Liftback.
Based on the absence of logic in my recent car buying activities, I can see myself going out with the intention of buying just such a truck and coming home with something like this glorious object that has clearly just been to Kwik-Fit for their premium wheel alignment service. :D
