WARNING!

Buying Japanese jalopies of indeterminate age is addictive. :D I hear Britney Spears in my head singing "F***! I did it again.."
Yes, not content with having a sort of Escort-sized Japanese daily drive to play with, I recently took pity on a cute, smaller - by the Ford scale a sort of KA-size - one with a novel two speed auto transmission, a 3 cylinder engine and what else? Oh yes, it's pink, but a deep, butch metallic pink.
The conversation with the car's owner went something like this:
Me - "So, Ros, does your old ****** **** still work? I might be able to give that a home if you're wanting the kitchen space back for kitchen-related stuff again"

Roisin - "Still works but the battery is as flat as the tyres which, by the way, aren't flat but have atmospheric pressure only. Bring a pump, it's only rim leaks and it's been on stands these past three years so there are no flat spots. How does thirty bar sound? I could get the scrapman to come out for it but they'd charge more than that to take it away.."

Me - "Hold your hand out then, here's some cash."

Must brush up on the bartering skills, I could have had that gratis!

What is it? I'll reveal all soon, I've found a man with a Sprinter van who'll deliver the car to me in the back of that in exchange for some telly work that I'd normally take about £50 to do. Yes, it really is narrow enough to drive directly up the ramps and into the back of a standard width van.

I've done that with a mini and a transit. Small cars can be fun!
btw, a pink kei car is nowhere as embarrassing as a bedazzled 3 wheeler ;)

OMG if your cars ever end up in the same place there could be an explosion. radioactive orange and Barbie "macho" pink, I don't think the space time continuum could take it.

Loving your long blonde wig John, you may need to buy some new reg plates as I don't think the font on those ones is legal ;)
