Trying to track down a Midget GRP 858T

#1 Post by Triumph205 » Sat Jan 24, 2015 3:24 pm

A certain life event is coming up for my mum in the next few years so I would love to track down her first car which was an MG Midget in yellow, registration GRP 858T in time to sort it out and give it to her.

I know from the DVLA it's been sorned for roughly 1-2 years so I have a glimmer of hope that it's out there somewhere?

If anyone has any information about the car please do get in touch please.

Only if you're the owner, or have other good reason to need the information, such as enforcing parking or motoring offences, not just trying to find out who owns it.
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.

If as the gentleman has said it is his mother then she can fill out the form and get the details as it
would be her enquiry. You do not need to be the current owner, but one of the previous owners.

I have done this for a few of my cars in the past, this means I could be sure that the car had been
transferred out of my name and into the person to whom I had sold the cars to!

Also when I filled out my request and stated why, they excepted that one car was my grandfather's
last car and my first as a good reason for the search(however that was a couple of years ago before
they got rid of the local branches)

Well worth contacting the MG Car Club, MG Owners Club, and of course the "Spridget" register" http://midgetandspriteclub.com/ As they may have some record of it as well.
